The iPhone black has a much larger hard disk. It also runs faster due to a better processor. Just don't drop it in the water, it won't like that very much.

Might wanna get your sarcasm detector looked at...

Gizmodo already squashed this rumor - apparently AT&T are just using this as a placeholder text for now. Although, it could be AT&T trying to cover up an accidental leak too...you decide.

I just called AT&T about this the agent I got was confused at first but then checked with his supervisor and confirmed that there will be a iphone black and purple. According to him the only difference would be the color of the back but Im surprised that they gave me that much info. Perhaps because I he thought I was ready to buy a phone.

This is actually a fake... I have an iPhone and went to the part of the AT&T website to "select your phone model," etc; and there were only the existing iPhone models to be selected... no "black" model found by me...could've been a fluke.. who knows?
