dballance.blogspot.com— A $36 activation fee + a $70 a month plan (Including the $10 more for 1,500 text messages) + 8.9% tax does NOT equal $139,73. Yet AT&T has no explanation as to why this costs what it does.

"Well. First lets get rid of the tax139.73 x .089 = 12.43So 139.73 - 12.43 = 127.29 without tax."Yeah, that's not right. You just calculated tax on 139.73. You should do 139.73/1.089 = 128.31
Seriously.I've never seen so many retarded people posting on digg. Its called pro-ration, if you can't understand it then let your parents handle your bill and go stick a thumb in your ass.
Is this really all that surprising? AT&T practically has all the iPhone customers on puppet strings. You all bought a 500$ phone the week it came out, knowing full well that AT&T was the only service for it. Basically AT&T knows that they can charge whatever the hell they want on your service plans because you've got nowhere else to go. If you just can't wait to fork over all your money for a phone, then you'd better be willing to pay for the phone company's highway robbery too.Next time, wait a few months, do some research, and think it over before you put in so much money for something you can't get out of. The price usually drops after some months time, and they usually have the kinks worked out by then too. Is being able to show off the 'latest and greatest' thing really worth all this? There is definitely a lesson to be learned here.
