True story, but it'll slow them down and make it just a little bit harder for them to id the packets as bittorrent traffic.

Bittorrent is a protocol, just like FTP or HTTP. To say that Bittorrent should be banned because it is used for illegal redistribution is like saying http should be banned because it can be used to download music or that cars should be banned because they can be used to smuggle drugs.
