gizmodo.com— AT&T's network is basically a huge failure. And if you want to fix their incompetence in your area, you'll need to pay an additional $20 a month for a 3G MicroCell. I call bulls**t.

"AT&T Wants You to Pay Extra to Fix Their Own Failures"Submitter's original title"AT&T's network is basically a huge failure. And if you want to fix their incompetence in your area, you'll need to pay an additional $150 for a 3G MicroCell. I call bulls**t."First paragraph of entire story, you see anything about how they all suck? Wait, there it is, in the middle of the story:"All of the carriers are ripping off their customers with these things, since all of the work is being put on your home internet connection, which you pay your broadband carrier for."One whole sentence other than the price list...the rest of every paragraph is all about AT&T, because you know, that's what the first paragraph of the story is about...which is supposed to be about the main topic of the story!Hope I clarified this for you.
Couldn't you just buy a cellphone repeater from ThinkGeek? It costs $200, but that's it... done deal... and it strengthens pretty much ALL cellphone signals.
I have to agree with one thing, ATT's network does suck. I call my father every afternoon, and either I drop the call, or my dad's phone drops the call (he has ATT also) EVERYTIME. If I were actually paying for my phone, (my job is) I'd cancel this s**t service.

Except having full 3G bars with AT&T is no indication of your ability to transfer data at the moment...

It is customary for the service provider to pay the person hosting the antenna, not the other way around.
