foxnews.com— Reviewing books and holding public figures accountable is at the core of good journalism, but the Associated Press' treatment of Palin's book seems an unprecedented move..

Something fast and final would be better so that she doesn't become a martyr and her dying isn't dragged out in the media. A fatal brain aneurysm or massive heart attack would be good. Something with pictures or possible controversy, such as an auto accident, would be bad.
Are you arguing then that because Fox News claims that, they're eeeevil? We'll just ignore all those nonpartisan studies that prove they're less biased than CNN and that MSNBC et al are more biased than CNN. See, for example:How Different Media Have Covered the General Electionhttp://journalism.org/node/13436
@ glynth"attacking mannerisms is a GREAT substitute for logically disputing the interpretation of facts."so you're not mad that the ap is factchecking palin's book? i agree that everyone should put a lot more time and effort into logical discussion instead of just shallowly caricaturing the other side...it's just a shame that comedy central is doing both so much better than the real journalists.
@govtdoesnotwork:"AP's well-demonstrated anti-Palin hysteria, which is playing right into her popularity"It's beautiful theater isn't it? AP is just another tool of the oligarchy. This whole Palin thing is scripted beautifully, and the people behind the scenes are laughing their asses off watching otherwise decent Americans tear each other's throats out over this mindless 2-time loser who is nothing but a willing pawn. Everybody knows full well that Palin doesn't stand a chance, it's already being said that this whole "Palin 2012" thing is just to ensure a 2nd term for Obama...which will work, because it leaves decent conservatives with no republican worth voting for. Any Palin ticket will suffer the same fate as the last one. There's only one thing the American people can do at this point if we want to put an end to this never-ending ruse....VOTE THIRD PARTY!!!!
I do not think she is fit to lead either, but being bankrupted and battered by partisan hacks is not an outcome fitting of an elected official, a citizen of the US, or a human being.

So what if AP is devoting manpower to truth check a book? They are a private corporation, they are not using tax money.
