If we don't sell Iran weapons, then who are we going to fight? Enemies have got to have weapons, too.

I think that's a bit more than 'unfortunate'. An American soldier may well be torn to shreds as a result, or innocent citizens exploded - and you term it unfortunate?Tool of the highest order. Here's what should happen - the f**kwits who oversaw this lunacy should be brought to heel and made accountable for their deadly lack of foresight.

Selling our weapons to the world has been going on for decades. Monetary gain holds no discrimination, whether you're from China or Great Britain. The real bitch is when we goto a nation who has bought our weapons and war with them. I'm currently in Afghanistan where *Stinger* missiles are being shot at our helicopters.

Actually a lot of top US technology was lost also during 1994-1998Notice how China had a very slim success rate with their space launches, but after 99 it was 100% successful. The massive transfer of dual-use technologies to Chinese front companies (which happen to be staffed by People's Liberation Army officers) began in the early ninety's and was most heated from 1994-1998 during the Clinton years. Companies like Lockheed would sell technologies that would make its way all around the world and end up used by the Chinese military.
