What a year for the iPhone:1.) All the hype surrounding it2.) The fact that it's not selling after 1-2 months, hence the $200 price cut and the do away of the 4gb versionand to top it of....3.) iPhone hackers are complaining because they were stupid enough to update their units.Stupid....really stupid
It wasn't Jobs, it was the Woz who was the blueboxer of the pair.Again, you don't own the music, you only own the license purchased from the music companies via the music store. They screamed bloody murder when the plan was first offered up for free ringtones.Jobs is still pretty much what he always has been, a tech evangeliser. and he's still awesomely good at it.
I agre with UCF. I updated my iPhone and it works like a charm. I hate all cell phone carriers but, I've been with AT&T/Cingular for about five years prior to the release of the iPhone.I'm sorry boys and girls but, I have more important things to do than to hack my phone.

Apple is a trusted entity, the expectation of the user is that software provided by Apple will not irreparably damage their iPhone.
