I couldn't tell what was going on for at least a minute. Looked like a ocean eyeball in a jungle lid.

Wow, that has to be the most underwhelming APOD picture I've ever seen. I almost always Digg up APOD pictures, not out of some kind of reverence, but because I usually find them inspiring, informational, and beautiful. This was just a mess.
