Dam right here in houston SBC yahoo dsl is offering it for $15.95...dam i didnt know they was gonna go that low...now im stuck paying twice that price for the same internet...dam i tells you dam!!!!
hahaha yeah.....its all down hill from here for them, i remember when i had their service during the dial up days of mine, the connection was horrible, I would be checking out my favorite sites (wink wink)lol and then it was "goodbye" lol that ish sucked, im glad its over.
I don't mind getting aol disc as long as they send them in a handy dandy reusable dvd case. It's shocking they never realized that if a person hasn't signed up after getting a dozen cd's in a month they aren't going to. but still they would send more and more every month. imagine how much they could have saved by not whoring themselves out.
"AOL's vast holdings of news, sports, music and more"LOL, that has to be the most ridiculous statement ever. I dont remember aol having any "vast holdings" of anything. They give aim away for free already, and news broadcasts are everywhere online for free already so what do they actually think they are going to offer that is so different?I dont get this move that they are making anyway. What are their subscribers going to be paying for if they are giving the stuff away for free online? This has to be the most stupid move they've ever made...although RAISING their subscribtion fees to $24 a month when others were lowering their fees to $10 a month is right up there.I guess the subscribers are finally coming to their senses.
I know this comment is really late, but I just made a digg account and had to mention it.We once found soo many AOL cds laying around that we were able to decorate most of a christmas tree with them. XD
