arstechnica.com — At GDC today, AMD announced a suite of tools for developing handheld gaming content for the company's next-generation mobile graphics chips. These chips support the same Unified Shader Architecture as the Xbox 360's ATI-designed GPU. Are phones the last stop here, or could the "Xboy" be on its way?

After Microsoft named their handheld console X-Son people started to realize who were behind the war in Iraq.

The real problem with the PSP is a lack of quality exclusive content. There is not one game that I can think of that interested me. I don't want to play shooters on any analog joystick platform and there is no Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Castlevania, Kid Icarus.. you get the point. Please name something for the PSP that isn't forgettable (and not a shooter) so I can buy something that will get me to take it off the shelf. Now if Microsoft followed the formula that they have with the 360 on a handheld I would go into the mountains and freeze myself and have a friend thaw me out when it was released. A handheld with achievement points... that would be cool. I can barely get myself to play an untracked game anymore. I bought games that are superior on the pc, that I already owned, for the 360 just so I could get the achievement points. I know they don't do anything but that doesn't matter to me I'm addicted. I even look them up on my cell phone to plan what I'm going to achieve next. I also love the branded content on the ds but I can't wait until the have a unified scoring system. Its the perfect platform for it. The mario games are already built with various goals in each level that are ready for grouping into achievements. Of course my hope would be that instead of releasing a gaming only mobile platform that Microsoft would extend the Live experience to its windows mobile 6 product line and release reliable 1st party devices and an xna mobile platform.
