The original comment went to Paul because he is on the list, and what I meant to say is he is immune to these lobbyists, all you have to do is look at his record for proof.
THat's absolutely correct Ooloo. Wealth redistribution, i.e. social engineering, i.e. socialism is immoral. I believe in voluntarism all the way. We need a libertarian government and alot of voluntary charity to deal with social problems, rather than socialism.
Well he also supports UHC and wants the people to be able vote for some more laws and whatnot at the federal level. He also did a good job saying its horrible the other candidates including Obama were planing to possibly nuke Iran.I think now he has given up on becoming president and is now just trying to get other candidates to stop pandering to the crowd. That or he doesn't have enough time to state his position after doing the criticizing is done.
Moore has an ideological agenda. And that's fine. Ideas matter; if they can be proven true through rational thought, discourse and empirical observation. But he is pre-dispose to assume that government is the solution to all our social ills when he clearly documents in his films, that government is always part of the problem. In that Youtube vid with him interviewed by some truthers he says he was "genetically prohibited" from voting Republican. Does that make any sense (i'm sure he was just trying to be funny)? So to Moore, ideas don't really matter if proven wrong. He's dishonest and irrational. He blames the entire War on Bush (much credit is due to this adminstration) but ignores the fact that many Democrats cast their vote for it, and then has the nerve to say that Government isn't the problem?Whaaaaaaa? Our liberties are being taken away by both ends of the political spectrum because we've given to much power and believe to blindly that government can solve our problems. It can't. Wake up to that fact Moore and stop praising false gods.
Does it make any sense to class Kucinich and Gravel who got a couple of bucks with Hillery and Mitt who gorged on over $800,000 apiece from the med lobby?I hope the submitter apologizes for the misleading title that says all candidates took med lobby money?
loganhid I understand what you're saying about supporting socialized health care. I would have agreed at one time, but we have much bigger problems than socialized medicine. Watch "The Money Masters" watch "Why We Fight" Ron Paul wants to stop our country from policing and invading the world. It costs trillions to do this and he plans to pass that savings on to the American people. What's more important is this policy will save thousands of American lives and hundreds of thousands of lives around the world. Ron Paul is the only true world peace candidate. Our soldiers are brave to fight for our country, but as Michael Moore himself said they only ask for a just reason. No more Americans should die for the greed of rich men.Barack Obama has talked about invading Pakistan. He wants to increase foreign spending by 50 billion. This means more US medaling. Even Michael Moore said Hilary has been bought off.Even Ralph Nader said if Hilary is on the Arms Committee. If she really wanted to spend more money on poor children, she has the power to cut military spending to pay for it--but doesn't. Look at Michael Moore's web site for Sicko http://www.michaelmoore.com/sicko/sickos-for-sale/candidates/. Both Hilary and Barack have received huge corporate donations from the health care industry.More of Ron Paul's donations are coming from the people like you and me. The leading candidates (front runners) for the Democrat and the Republican Parties are bought and paid for by corporations and don't have good track records of keeping their word. Ron Paul keeps his word.http://www.ronpaul2008.com/about/Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s Record:He has never voted to raise taxes. He has never voted for an unbalanced budget. He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership. He has never voted to raise congressional pay.He has never taken a government-paid junket. He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch. He voted against the Patriot Act.He voted against regulating the Internet. He voted against the Iraq war.He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program. He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year. Please read http://www.ronpaul2008.com/issuesThis is why I dropped Barack Obama as the candidate I was going to sport and register to vote as a Republican. They have the choice to have sex. If they are raped it's the rapist robbing them of their right to choose, not the government.
