there are so few meaningful .com addresses out there these days, which I wouldn't have a problem with if it weren't for the fact 99% of them aren't being used. gets me so mad when I can't have the domain I want because some putz has registered it to try and screw money out of someone. get a job!sorry, got a bit worked up there :)
Squurl.com is not just a blatant ripoff, it is outright plagiarism. If you check their source, it is structurally the same as instantdomainsearch. Except for renaming of variables or function names, everything else is IDENTICAL. It is more than a far stretch to believe that they are 'are using our own code that we are currently optimizing', when the code is a ripoff of instantdomainsearch. Clearly they have no idea what Mochikit even provides if they are trying to explain the 'similarities' with Mochikit. I say we boycott these guys and SUPPORT instantdomainsearch. Its unbelievable that they even have the tenacity to release software that is a blatant rip off of someone elses hard work and labor.

Try <a class="user" href="http://www.domainsbot.com">http://www.domainsbot.com</a> new instant search feature. You'll know if the domain you search is for sale (with price)

The site doesn't appear to work any more. I found this thread which basically says that they hired a programmer to create the same thing as instantdomainsearch ( <a class="user" href="http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=112157">http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=112157</a> ).I would say this is based on the idea of google's suggest tool ( <a class="user" href="http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=1&hl=en">http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=1&hl=en</a> ). I think they were the first one to come out with something like this. All they did was apply the idea to domains. There are many other sites which have this ajax domain search:1) <a class="user" href="http://www.domainsbot.com">http://www.domainsbot.com</a> - also shows if the domain expired or for-sale2) <a class="user" href="http://www.iyd.com">http://www.iyd.com</a> - most accurate 3) <a class="user" href="http://www.pcNames.com/check/">http://www.pcNames.com/check/</a> - also shows if the domain is expired (definitely the fastest)
