you're kidding me, right? kaka was a bitch the whole game. i mean, granted, he was a good assister for inzaghi, but he's so overrated and can get praise from people like you for doing nothing in a finals match.

I admit ... i was thinking off the top of my head... not really CARING about Liverpool's position as it is so irrelevant!!!They were TWENTY ONE points behind the champions this season.... 3rd only on Goal Difference and liverpool havent been champions for the best part of 2 decades.And they did not knock out all of the other teams... they knocked about 8 teams each, the others knocked each other out (if you know what I mean!)Anyway... point still counts Liverpool certainly do not represent the cream of europe... far from it. They lost 3-0 to everton this year for example :) Milan are closer but there at least half a dozen better teams this season thus the discontent I have about the 'champions' league.
Much respect due to Milan, they had the perfect gameplan. Played conservative, and relied on their defense to give them counterattacks. Liverpool dominated the possession, but didn't get many good chances (due to Milan's excellent D) and squandered the ones they got (Gerrard, are you kidding me?). Milan had approximately 2 great chances to score, and they converted both. Inzaghi is seriously the master of his craft. I reckon that his deflection off the Pirlo FK (Kaka took a dive to win that FK BTW) was intentional? If so, thats just amazing. Liverpool did well to contain Kaka, and in general their defense played well. Milan just converted their few chances into goals. Crouch should have started. Notice how many crosses Liverpool played into the box. Crouch would have been the perfect striker to have in there!
