Yes, but the people who are saying it are the ones who are voting republican. I can also imagine there are those on this board who want Ron Paul to win the primaries, but will still end up voting democrat against the guy. How would you vote?

Getting federal pork would NOT "do our communities good." Why do you want the Fed Gov to blackmail the states with their own money? Did you know that Federal Blackmail is why you can be drafted and expected to kill and die at 18 years old, but not be "allowed" or "permitted" to enjoy your right to enjoy beer or wine until you are 21?This simpleminded, "I like Money" attitude is turning the USA into an Idiocracy.Keep your money local and it will do more good for your community than sending to Washington to be wasted on hookers and meth and $2000 suits. Ron Paul would do away with all government programs -- opting instead for capitalist ones. If you think the healthcare system is bad now, and you think insurance companies have too much power now -- you should consider what Ron Paul would do: the insurance companies would be even *more* powerful.The cult of Ron Paul is filled with people who think that free market capitalism has all the answers, and that all gov't run social programs are inherently busted. Newsflash people: if you want to see what pure free market capitalism does (with zero social programs) please refer to the Middle Ages. Poverty was rampant and 99.999% of wealth was controlled by .1% of the population. Yeah... great.... vote Ron Paul.I'm a fan of libertarian policies to an extent. But, as is true with capitalism and socialism, any idea taken to its extreme is usually a bad idea.Ron Paul is off the deep end of libertarianism. When asked if he would allow social programs for the poor, orphaned, mentally ill, etc. His answer is always "no". LOL. If he thinks that the benevolent capitalists will solve all our problems he's smoking crack.
