Inside, during McCain's speech, there were disruptions by what looked like Codepink ladies, who of course were carted away. The delegates had apparently already been instructed to drown out the protesters by shouting "USA, USA..." At one point McCain said, "Do not be distracted by the noise and static." So, that's what peacelovers are, noise and static? Damned are the peacemakers, for they are noise and static! And so, Jesus, Ghandi, MLK, et.al. are...

"flash bangs"??? They're called stun grenades. From Wikipedia:<a class="user" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grenades#Stun_grenades">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grenades#Stun_grenade ...</a>"Stun grenades are used to confuse, disorient, or distract a potential threat. A stun grenade can seriously degrade the combat effectiveness of affected personnel for up to a minute. The best known example is the M84 Stun Grenade, which produces a blinding (6-8 million Candela) flash and deafening (170-180 dB SPL) blast. This grenade can be used to incapacitate people, generally without causing serious injury.""The flash of light momentarily activates all photosensitive cells in the retina, making vision impossible for approximately five seconds until the eye restores the retina to its original, unstimulated state.""The incredibly loud blast emitted by the grenade contributes to its incapacitating properties by disturbing the fluid in the semicircular canals of the ear."

Maybe this happens because the protestors weren't uh... peaceful? Take for example the lady that interrupted McCain's speech. She thinks she has some special right to do that? Then when people are trying to escort her out, she starts flailing her arms swinging them at the guys moving her along. I can just imagine when she got out she was arrested and now is somewhere complaining about the 'awful treatment' she received inside. Blah blah blah, whine whine.

From Fox News:<a class="user" href="http://www.myfoxlubbock.com/myfox/pages/News/Politics/Detail?contentId=7364569&version=6&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=3.14.1">http://www.myfoxlubbock.com/myfox/pages/News/Polit ...</a>"Whoever got arrested was whoever didn't disperse and was still on the bridge," Fletcher said. "The tactic of blocking people on the bridge could very well have prevented a lot of activity later tonight. Clearly there were a number of people with no intention of being law-abiding tonight."----So this really is 1984 and Fletcher is the Thought Police. He ordered people arrested because of their "intent". Not because of anything they had done!!!

You miss the point. The protests weren't "out of hand". It was the Police that were "out of hand". If the protesters get out of control, it's easy to leave the area. If the Police run amuck as the did here, then there is nothing that can be done. But why would you expect the Police to start rioting in the USA? The Home of the Free, and the Land of the Brave.
