that's because opera only implements Flash 7 because that's all Adobe gives them. Most of the onlne TV is the latest flash 9, but YouTube does well keeping compatible.
Ok abc, now IT'S ON!! We got something for ya! Go to ABC using Linux, try to watch a full episode, then "suggest an improvement" and let 'em have it!!This baloney has to stop, this kind of crap breaks the Internet!!Oh and if you want to see full episodes in the meantime, GO TO CBS.COM and watch them there, they work great. Also, email the webby awards people and tell them ABC sucks.Shame on these monopoly-driving companies!!! They're going DOWN!
Some shows, e.g. "Lost" are available via the Boxee(Linux Compatible) player from boxee.tv.Basically, once you sign up for a free boxee account, you can then get the boxee player, and from the applications>video>hulu feeds section you can find Lost. Here are the simple instructions for adding the boxee repo in Ubuntu:1) Go to System > Administration > Software Sources.2) In Sources Software dialogue, select Third-Party Software tab, click Add, and enter: for Intrepid: deb http://apt.boxee.tv intrepid main for Jaunty: deb http://apt.boxee.tv jaunty main3) After closing this dialogue you can either use Synaptics and select Boxee for download, or use a terminal window, and enter sudo apt-get install boxee. To run Boxee, Applications > Sound & Video > Boxee

What false dichotomy? Absent a legal way to obtain something for which there is demand, the black market is the inevitable result.

Hulu Releases A Linux Hulu Desktop Client!http://digg.com/linux_unix/Hulu_Releases_A_Linux_H ...Now it's time to Let ABC and FOX know to switch their full episodes over to this hulu player on their website... As opposed to the MSFT funded MoveNetworks player on there that is NOT Linux compatible (although they say it is coming.. bet it will be faster now).Contact abc here:http://site.abc.go.com/player/index?pn=indexContact Fox via email here: askfox(_at_)fox(_dot_)comTell ABC and FOX and Oprah about this article and let them know to use a client that is friendly to Linux users.
