Thanks to you and bdbr for the advice. Right now, we're looking at Albuquerque, NM (but it all depends on where my fiance lands a job.) I've been pricing some homes, and they seem pretty good out there - $110,000 for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage, roughly 2,000 sq. feet, built in 2003 in good neighborhoods seems to be the norm. We know that wherever she gets a job is where we'll be for probably 20-30 years. She's majoring in animation and will be working in the film industry (Disney, Pixar, etc.) and they're mostly either Orlando, LA, or now Albuquerque (cheaper to make movies there than CA.) So should we still be looking for a home we won't be in for a long time?
