hehe2.net— When it comes to Linux there are 3 kinds of people, those who never heard of it, those who are afraid of it, and those who hate it and spread falsities about it.

GUIs are faster to use for things you don't know how to do. Command lines are faster to use for things you do know how to do. A decent OS needs to have both (which is why the first thing I do with a Windows PC is load unix-like commands).
One of the better pro Linux articles. I only take issue with #2. 1) If the app you want is *gasp* not in a repository and has to be installed from source, it can be difficult or at least intimidating to install. 2) The author's argument only applies if the user doesn't know what software he wants to install and is ok with doing a blind search online or in a package manager. Let's say I have a copy of Photoshop sitting on my desk right now. On which OS is it easier to install?
"What the hell is a "Not Real Life" anyways?"I think he is thinking of girlfriends and sex, with the implication that if you have a girlfriend, you have no time for Linux, and conversely that if you use Linux, you are unlikely to have a girlfriend, since no girls would accept you using anything else than Windows. For the imbecile: The last part was sarcasm.

It's a brand of detergent, while Micro&Soft is a brand of fabric softener.
