Don't put your best clothes on.. That's the most stupidest advice you can give. Dress apropiate. You don't in a suit with tie and hat, shiney shoes to a place where people dress casual.I've noticed already that when I go out in a simple T-shirt, I have more contact with people. Dress to classy and people are "scared" to talk with you. The same goes for a date. Don't overclass, it creates a division you cannot bridge.
