timesonline.co.uk— The practice, which claims more than 90 lives each day, should no longer be seen as ?the honourable way out? but as an act of desperation and ? perhaps ? preventable misery.

If you have dishonored yourself for some reason, japanese or not, you should stay alive to repent for this, and try to restore your honor, killing yourself does nothing but end you, you can't regain anything...
If you notice the age groups this happens to in Japan.. Just so happens to be the youth that make up a small amount of the population, and most people over 25 aren't procreating in that country.. You better believe that they are going to experience a huge decline in population.
What makes you think I haven't? Do you know me sir, do you know my life, I fear death but respect it enough to know that when my time comes I don't want to the decision of someone else. Also it is rather selfish of you to think that it is up to you to decide how a person lives or choses to die.
True Shame can be forgotten but if the person is unwilling to resolve said shame regardless of you philosophical beliefs it is still that persons decision and it is their final decision should we not respect that?
