I'd also add Ishkur's guide to electronic music @ <a class="user" href="http://www.di.fm/edmguide/edmguide.html">http://www.di.fm/edmguide/edmguide.html</a> . There are hundreds of samples to hear from over 100 genres of electronic music! Definitely my favorite site!

Good mention of Last.fm, which is the BEST music fansite out there, IMO.However, I'm surprised he didn't mention any music technology sites, where users actually learn how to maintain the quality of the collection. www.hydrogenaudio.org is my favorite of theirs and a real essential for those truly interested in a high quality library :).

I agree, HydrogenAudio is a great resource. I'm not a huge audiophile, but I learned about things like the advantages of Foobar2000, the Wavpack format (and more recently the new TAK), and I certainly got some insight into how bitrate of different lossy formats really affect percieved quality. Only problem is that many members can be a bit pretentious. They're usually really helpful though.
