nypost.com— A shy 8-year-old Long Island boy wonder is making money hand over fist by teaching grownups how to master Halo.

You know, that kid isn't seeing any of the money right now, especially since he's apparently tutoring through a company (from article: "...booked through gaminglessons.com, where he's the youngest of the 12 instructors, who get paid up to $65 an hour"), and there are those pesky child-labor laws. An 8-year-old has very little (if any) understanding about making money and the value of money. You can bet that his Daddy has the bank account. My kids started figuring out how to make money with their video games & computers when they were 12/13/14, they set up a gaming booth at our local fairs and charged $1 per 5 minutes of play. They did it mostly just for fun, but a little of it was for making money. Even at that age, I had to explain to them how much they needed to charge to make back the money spent, and they still spent their profits on sodas and candy. They didn't care... no bills to pay, and they were very happy.I'm not knocking the kid one bit (just look at Tiger Woods and others who started out very young!), just saying I'd bet anything that it wasn't the kid's idea to charge money or how much to charge, and he's not holding his own purse strings at that age.
"My jobs pays a lot more than $25 and hour and it is nowhere close to being a Fortune 500 company..."Perhaps they didn't get to become a fortune 500 by paying their staff well :P
