Hey I am that guy in the company that uses a mac! Well sure it's my own and I use the company machine to check email and maybe do a quick edit on a PowerPoint, but I use my Mac for all the actual "work" I do.
What really should be questioned is the type of people that have time to take the surveys.Regular people who go to work and don't even know the brand of their computer or mouse don't waste time on surveys. But those people who feel OS choice is somehow a "lifestyle" don't mind pushing back that big project another 30 minutes because they just got emailed this survey which will let them prove THEIR OS is better than the competitor.
Before Bruce Chizen stepped down from Adobe there was an article about Adobe having to port Photoshop to OSX then having to port it to Intel and how important is the Mac to Adobe and Bruce said something to the effect that 60% of Adobe's bottom line comes from the sale of Photoshop to Mac customers.
I bought a MacBook recently for £799. For about half the price I could have gotten a similarly-specced Dell with Ubuntu installed.I was curious to try a Mac, but I really don't think it has any great advantages over Linux, and is more of a pain to adapt to.

I'm pretty sure you can. Apple stores have a "Business Consultant" who would be able to hook you up.

I have a MacBook and a Kubuntu laptop and I find Kubuntu far easier to use.
