I'm glad to see that "Hey there Delilah" by the Plain White T's, probably one of the most insipidly irritating ballads ever penned, didn't make it onto the list. But the list should have included de Moraes and Jobim's "Girl from Ipanema", probably one of the most famous popular songs ever written for a real, identifiable person.

It was a poem Axl wrote long before the band got together. Slash and Izzy came up with the riff on their acoustic guitars and he started singing the poem.
