Or install OS X on your PC and deal with the occasional f**kups?

I use RK Launcher, it functions pretty much the same as the OSX dock on my macbook. I can have it auto hide itself to get out of the way and when I want to use it I just mouse over to wherever I put it. I removed quicklaunch from my start bar, and have no icons on my desktop at all.

No I don't think that Mac is just about the Dock, it's just a feature that comes standard in Macs that I really like that doesn't come standard with Windows. Some people have different priorities when it comes to computers. I am willing to deal with a little instability (which is a lot less of a problem than most people make it out to be) for al the other things that Windows does right and that I prefer over Mac.

The Mac's is older. Mac OS X came out in 2001, and the dock concept came from NextStep, which was from the late 80s. Do thy research.

If I wanted a mac I would have bought one, instead of a pc, which I got to build into a monster for less than what a 'high end'-lolz mac would have cost me.

I love my Mac so I tried RocketDocket on my work PC and I liked it at first but if you've actually used OS X's real dock it's nowhere close to the real thing. The Rocket Docket is a glorified quiackstart menu whereas the Mac's Dock replaces the purpose of the start menu, the quick start and the task menu. That' part of the reason why Leopard looks so clean and gorgeous.

And the number one best way to make your PC look like a Mac is to throw away the PC and buy a Mac.
