These safety equipment will be able to warn you of imminent danger by using advance mathematics to calculate the possibilities and the chances of danger occurring. This will be the future’s way of fortune telling!"

Can't they just make a car that will drive for me. We spend 100 hours ave commuting a yr. That time could be spent a lot better then manning the wheel. Plus then everyone would stfu about the whole drinking and texting while driving bs.

drinking and texting while driving bulls**t? we'll see how you feel when you lose someone close to a drunk driving accident, or when your brand new car gets hit by some teenage idiot who decided that a text message was more important than the person driving in front of him.

No thanks, I'll stick with my completely stock 02 Ram. Power nothing, no CD player, etc. Works just fine.

They have a name for the kind of vehicle you're looking for... it's called a "Bus".

I don't see this happening in a long time. I think it will first happen whenever flying cars will become reality. Why? Unfortunately I don't see us being able to fly on our own. It's easier to implement something in an environment that's completely new (eg. flying cars in the future) than an existing infrastructure. I mean even if they come out with cars that can be controlled you'll still have a humongous amount of "normal" cars. But maybe AI's will be so smart in the future that they can drive along with normal cars that don't emit any type of information except for the visual.

So many of these technologies are really old.one of my professors atually worked on government automotive research (he worked on a project to notify the driver of an impending accident). It was over 15 years ago. They moved on to things like Automated Highway systems (cars driving themselves on the freeways, ~1 meter from each other @ 75mph) safely and accident free. Then funding got cut in 95.
