makeuseof.com — A little while ago, Google announced the removal of the “Beta” tag from their brand new browser. Now, I have heard speculation that this is due to the fact that computer manufacturers won’t bundle software with “Beta” hanging around its neck.

@ rpgmaker RE: " The difference process for a different tab annoyed me, so I just used it for about 5 minutes. "Wow, thanks for keeping us up-to-date on what annoys you and what you use "for about 5 minutes".

The same Privoxy install can Adblock across ALL of your browsers. How is that "not as good as adblock" ? ? ? http://lifehacker.com/5046529/how-to-block-ads-in- ...

I like the minimalism of Chrome, the fewer "toolbars" the better, I would however like a dedicated bookmark button, I hate having to open a whole "toolbar" just to see my bookmarks. Flash no problem and I find it fast. I basically use Chrome for speed surfing and FF for everything else, you know ...porn.

it's kind of open source now: if they don't give what the public wants it'll get forked. And google don't want users forking to a less restrictive version of the product they spent x resources building over y months. Therefore, they pretty much have to add extensions.I see your point though, and I never thought they'd explicitly address the "Adblock" situation, instead I thought they would opt for the "open platform" and let adblock be somebody else's problem.Still, you'd have lost your money :/
