In my opinion: . Wordpress is the best blogging platform ...and moreover it can be used us a cms also. There are a lot of plugins and many of them are free for use. Nr2. Firefox. For me firefox is more that a browser. Because of firefox i don't use an antiviris. IE is a crap. Firefox loads faster and you can use a lot of plugins .. again :)Adsense .. well it is ok for the start. It is the best. is simple to install and if you have a wordpress powered website, there is a plugin you can use.

Good post and list of tools. I also use Google Analytics, FaceBook & LinkedIN (getting very good as a tool)
