ecogeek.org — EcoGeek is here to keep you informed of the latest technologies that are making our lives better while also ensuring that we don't spoil the Earth at the same time. Here are ten technologies that I can't wait for, and that I think we'll see (to varying degrees) in 2008.

Since the price is high, maybe we will be among the first to get off the damn oil and use something else. We don't research the issue until the price is high to keeping it high is the best thing to do for the planet.

Read my post. I just told you that your 'magic' battery, that fuels in 10 minutes, does indeed exist. A little reading comprehension problem? Here's a link to a public demo of the 10-minute recharge batteries: http://www.b2i.us/profiles/investor/ResLibraryView ...

Hell Yeah! Thanks for the link!Get some plastic solar panels to fold up in the trunk and I can go camping for free!Sadly it will never get out of Norway. But they are really liberal so I would fit in after a bit.http://bravenewfilms.org/blog/19529-michael-moore- ...The place is sounding better every day.Its time to pay pennies per KW instead.MSRP is is only about half of the cost of a fuel drinker and smog exhauster. Here's a short crude example: pump crude, evaporate at refinery, pump, transport, pump, refine and evororate again, pump to transport, burn fuel, pump to ship, burn fuel, transport my semi, burn fuel, pump into holding tank, pump again and finally you get to burn it as an expensive fuel!Cough cough choke...wheeze...It is no longer a question of if we are going to die from air pollution, just when. The fumes must keep us complacent and stupid.

Agreed. Many classes require cited material or sources and by allowing copy and paste from what use to be paper copy only; we allow students to research and report more quickly with digital copies.Lets face it, students are short on time as well and if we can speed up the process, it could lead to the boost which our learning curve needs.I am uninspired with paper; i do not like headaches from weak light sources when I can just adjust a back-light and font size, and being able to carry an almost unlimited amount of text without added weight has a huge advantage.I can read longer on my laptop than I can by book. Plus I can save everything of importance, usually by bookmark alone, but in many cases I can't put a price on being able to copy and paste, and save new text doc of the text I want a local copy of.Not to mention, most things I write. As a left-hander I no longer have a reason to smear ink and pencil as I write and more paper notebooks will be a thing of the past.
