there are tons of abandoned asylums in CT. but they have really tight security on them now because most of those towns want to develop them. there's still a working one in middletown, ct

I live in the Detroit area as well, and while I do find all the abandoned buildings interesting, I would say Detroit is FAR from abandoned. If anything, it's making a great comeback, especially since the Superbowl was here.
