mashable.com — It has only been a week since Digg officially launched their API, but there are already a handful of useful applications and ideas that are finding their way onto the web. Here are 7 we really like. Feel free to add more in the comments.

@getrealnow (#6404871)I wanted to use several of these but Adobe Apollo isn't compatible with Linux, so I'm outta luck.Hopefully somebody will figure out a way to fix this sooner than later

I really like the Digg Smart Button. It's a little light on the options, but I can see expanding off this idea.

People who love Kevin Rose?Nope, I'm not one of them...assuming that these diggs are coming from people who actually love Kevin Rose, as opposed to those who are merely kissing up to him in the futile hope of getting some attention in return. In the long run, those, like Kevin Rose, who fall in love with themselves end up with fewer and fewer rivals.

Are you ready for the wrath of the Digg community. Never mention the "V" word.

Cool stuff, although half of that was always possible by re-arranging an RSS feed or two.

I made this tool to track comments and replies via RSS:http://bleu.west.spy.net/diggwatch/It's awesome in that it does the exact thing I need. :)
