weburbanist.com — There are abandonments all over the world, but the former Soviet Union has some of the most interesting, unique and strange abandoned buildings. The complex political, military and social history of the country has led to everything from almost-finished buildings abandoned before actual use and entire abandoned cities to chilling gulags.

I think you meant George Orwell. Any dystopian theme you'll find in a book by Vonnegut is going to be from a very liberal point of view. But then again so is most any kid you find on a college campus playing hacky sack and saying things like "brah". That being said, you may want to limit your insults to the words you know how to use like "s**t", "****" and "bitches". So instead of looking stupid and low classed you just look vulgar and low classed.

While socialism is flawed their building not looking pretty is not a reason.

The mixed system has a proven track record. Just look at all the most prosperous, peaceful, liberal, educated, healthy, happy countries in the world right now. The last country to have implemented laissez-faire economy, was Pinochet's Chile. While the upper 5% of the population received 25% of the total national income in 1972 (before Pinochet's CIA-backed coup), it received 50% in 1975 (after the coup and libertarian economic reforms). Wage and salary earners got 64% of the national income in 1972 but only 38% at the beginning of 1977. Malnutrition affected half of the nation's children, and 60% of the population could not afford adequate food.

true laissez-faire economies have a great track record. The problem is only one or two laissez-fair economies have existed in history. For instance while Milton Freedman set up Chile's economy he did not introduce a free market. He introduced more free market principle making it closer to a mixed economy in hope that it would cause the country's government to be overthrown.
