We worry when countries and governments have to much info, we worry about cameras yet we are happy to let Google run our lives! and I'm included my online world would collapse without Google and that scares me...

@tnash (#6855415)I am not so worried about Google having all the information, I am worried about the lack of competition in this very specific case. I have also just linked through to a post from Aaron Brazell who has some very similar concerns even though he is a very close partner of Feedburner.

Lack of competition is my biggest fear. Big G are forcing a monopoly with their purchase or penalise mentality. In fact, I'm going to rename it - purchase or punish. That seems to fit their mindset better.
