thinkprogress.org — 79% percent of Americans ?say the next president should set the nation on a new course rather than following the direction in which Bush has been leading,? including two thirds who ?feel that way strongly.? ?For the first time this is even more than said so about Bush?s father, 75 %, the summer before he was voted out of office.

Umm, so this voting down party line thing is new?Nah. It has never been about party lines. You were closer to reality by bringing up lobbyists. Now just think about who is paying those lobbyists. There is your answer!CORPORATISM will destroy america. It is the new drive for empire. It is the new drive to destruction.

Hey! with the rising prices of precious metals, I can now turn that dollar into a hundred pennies, melt them down and extract the copper and sell it as jewelery for at least $20! Sweet! This makes me wonder: If all money was digitally managed, who would have all the metals? the resources?

It isn't a class warfare argument. Though there are a certain group of extremely wealthy people who are getting wealthier and wealthier while most middle class people are sinking deeper and deeper into debt, expanding expenses and never ending taxes.I'm in the top 5% of income and wealth as far as taxation is concerned, and yet I recognize that not everyone is enjoying the growth and prosperity this country used to be able to afford to anyone who wished to put forth an effort to achieve. There are barriers and traps set in front of even the most ambitious person.Bill Gates has even lost a lot of his wealth in this new system. He's not hurting, but he has seen a contraction of his wealth. Middle class and lower class people just happen to feel the pinch much more with these contractions.

The only candidate for change is Ron Paul, all of the rest are council on foreign relations members and are for the endless war on terror. Especially the warhawk Obama, he said bombing iran wasnt off the table, yet most of his supporters think he is anti war.
