This feels obvious... since Bush has only 20 something support, then 80 something percent of the US doesn't want him (Or others like him).

With that article title, I had to double check that this wasn't on The Onion.

Ummmm.filthy rich...that's an "expression," a "figure of speech." It's like saying you're "dirt poor." Oh no...now I'm a poor hater too. Give me a break. Do you know the difference between first world nations and third world nations? It's called the middle class. Ours has been shrinking rapidly in the past 7 years and the gap between rich and poor is getter wider. If you want to prevent the kind of hate that created communism, you need to keep that middle class strong. While our corporations are getting corporate welfare, we have average citizens who cannot afford basic necessities in spite of working hard at one or more jobs. That's not a recipe for a happy America.

Instead of assuming that both are equal to or greater to the numbers I suggested, assume that both are rough estimates that can fluctuate both above and below the numbers I supplied.

It would be one thing if this "poll" sat on it's own. However, for years, how many "polls" have we seen that give the President, Congress or the Iraq War, negative results? Most of them, right? So I think it's safe to assume that most people don't want a another President like Bush, right? That's why this country is so puzzling to me. If you go off the polls you can see that people are done with the President and his list of bumbling failures, yet we kinda like the old guy, with the army helmet? People talk about "change" all the time but there's nothing different about any of these candidates except for the fact that one's a black man and one's a woman. The other one doesn't know where he left his teeth. I'll actually take any candidate over the ones we have now. That's why I don't mind a Ralph Nader or a Cynthia McKinney. Blah!

I agree with imeddy, Bush is not my leader or anyone else who is in the white house. Helen Clark is my leader not him but yes i do agree with what you said. He had preformed a decent job that others could have.
