Gee, I dunno - maybe the constant pestering to install *bulls**t* like Safari for no reason, or the ridiculous memory footprint, or the hundreds of file duplicates leftover from file reorgs, or the three or four constantly running processes hogging up memory/cycles, or the three f**king minutes it takes to load on a machine w/ four cores and four gigs of DDR2, or the tiny array of file formats it supports, or its s**tty visualizations, or that it's a gigantic download, or that it requires that you install the heresy that is "quicktime" on your machine - preventing you from using QuickTime Alternative, which is a million times better/faster, etc -- what's NOT TO LOVE?!
"Linux fails because completely independent hardware from a rival company with no available source code or instructions on how to interface with it whatsoever doesn't work."Excuse me?For the same reason, my petrol car is an EPIC FAIL because it can't run on diesel and nothing can be done to make Diesel fuel work with it. Imagine you have an average car and bought a years' supply of Diesel, this is very much like that. It's your fault for buying something incompatible.Your reasoning is the fail here. :)Except this is worse, because near enough every other mp3 player on the market allows you to drag files to it as a nice and standard USB drive. Apple is the fail. You really need to get out of the "iPod is god" mentality.(Besides, if you only need to use Windows/OSX _once_, then that's not a bad compromise, since it doesn't support Linux natively in the slightest)
Good point, but I prefer that my library is organized by folders also, I was working on correcting the ID3's my hand, as some weren't labeled right, so it got rearranged, not to my liking personally, but to each's own
I guess there is no need to download a new software, understand it fully and then transfer the music, I am good with iTunes and don't have any issues with it. however the post is knowledgeable for me because I think there is no way to transfer music except iTunes, but I would love to know about some iphone accessory / iphone software which makes the iphone memory into a USB portable memory to auto-mounts as a drive when connected (no drivers/software required).Regards,Howard Whitehttp://www.wirelessphonegallery.com
I also have A LOT of music from various sources online and CD and try to keep it very accurate. I also share it with other audiophiles. I would like to learn what tools you use to download the correct medata for the file to ensure that it is accurate. cconti@hot.rr.com

+1 I completely agree, an unexplainable feeling when listening, especially listening to Shoutcast.

Fantastic. iTunes requires updating too frequently and I never did like having to install Quicktime on my computer.
