chicagotribune.com— What in the name of Howard Stern is going on around here? What happened to the era of the morning-drive shock jocks in Chicago radio?

I think America just got tired of shock jocks. I view it like the entire "torture porn" segment of the movie industry...it was "shocking" for a little while, but eventually, you run out of new shocks, and it went away.I buried the article because I don't think its accurate...
Terrestrial radio? I stopped listening years ago when I realized 20-30 minutes of ever broadcast hour was actually commercials. No thanks, I'll just listen to my commercial free XM or iPod (I can even play podcasts and books). The shock jocks never were really that great, they were just a little more interesting than what used to be available. Now there are simply much better options.
