Good article, a little ranty, but a good article. Funny how the guy talked in his opening argument about preferring consice and to the point reviews, then he proceeds to write an overlenghty commentary :)I use metacritic when I start investigating any games I might buy as it averages all the scores from many sites. If something gets below 50% its usually crap. On the flipside though, some games which get over 90% I dont care much for, and some games that have scored an average of 70% I have really liked.
Fantastic article. More people (especially game reviewers) should read this because it really represents how out-of-date game reviews really are. They haven't changed in 20 years other than implementing video and audio reviews.Great work on this.
