I had heard about that happening when Saving Private Ryan was released, mysedai. It was an intense scene and overall movie but that first scene, I couldn't imagine just how actually terrible it was.

Haha, man that is such an awesome story. It does speak volumes of just how messed up your train of thought is at that point.

At least he didn't go for "Shaving Ryan's Privates", which, in my opinion, would have been alot worse...

In the history of humankind, there has never not been war. What would make you think with the earth's population going up every second that war will ever decrease? If anything, it is going to increase. I'm not being a pessimist, I'm just being a realist.

In case anyone is wondering, those balloons are Barrage Balloons, anti-aircraft weapons: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barrage_balloon Given how many of them there are there, it makes me think that this is a British landing site rather than an American one.

Yeah, they do. Quite often better.Old coot in a monotone voice: And the Soviet Union had 23 million casualties.CoD, any Russian map: Crazy ass explosions, fire from every direction, and people dropping right and left. One of these things makes history 'real'. Hint, it's not the crusty professor.
