thinkprogress.org — NBC released a poll tonight showing that the majority of Americans object to recent White House attacks comparing Iraq war critics to Hitler appeasers. Asked about the recent “appeaser” language, NBC’s Tim Russert said the poll showed this rhetoric “did not resonate with the American people.”

I noticed Tim had no problem with anyone calling Bush Hitler.

In the transcript, I didn't see him refer to Bush as Hitler. That wouldn't be an appropriate comparison either. He talks about speeches where Bush used references to Hitler.

If it's from ThinkProgress.org, there's a 95% chance the article is horribly inaccurate. And this one helps show why. The poll compared the Iraq war to the Nazis. It said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about 1) appeasing or 2) calling critics appeasers.Either the authors at ThinkProgress.org can only read at a 3rd grade level, or they are being blatantly dishonest.

The scary part about this poll is the 32% who have no problem with it.Normally 38 but the image says 32. *shrugs*
