Let me see if I got this right. You're being stupid for the sake of being stupid, and you find other people annoying for not "getting it." Call me crazy, but I don't think the problem is with them.
I think that by taking such a position you are already narrowing your thought spectrum, "It's obvious that universal heath care is better", just like "obviously its GWs fault", "obviously communism is the best way to govern people", or how about "obviously the Bible is right". Sorry but once you are SURE you are right, you have lost your ability to think independently in the most fundamental way.
Democracy doesn't work in what sense? It appears to be working in a large protion of the world, of course that could be said of any active government type. It all depends on what you mean by "work"...
