Agreed. My nephew thought he tasted a difference, so he brought a U.S. HFCS Sprite to Ireland on a subsequent trip for a taste test, and everyone involved in the test had the same "phooey" reaction to the HFCS Sprite.
Any particular myth they've "busted" here? I find a lot of their ... erm... science ... is rather anecdotal compared to a well run study. If it's in regards to the pH, all I can say is this: it's lower than most wines, and that's pretty low pH.
Replaced my restaurant soda with water & lemon. A couple lemons and some Sweet&Low and you've got a healthier drink that didn't cost you a buck and half.
Yeah in a matter of about 2 months of quitting soda I lost 20 pounds, with no other lifestyle changes.Caffeine is one hell of a drug...There is caffeine withdrawal.
This "soda scare" is just a bunch of gov't bunk - getting people to buy into their drivel so they can turn around and kick us in the butt with an excuse to tax soda.

Stopped drinking Coke all together last April after consuming a case a week since forever ago. I lost 40 lbs in 3 1/2 months.

I made it my New Year's resolution to stop drinking soda... and I have been successful so far. I switched to unsweetened iced tea.

If it's too sweet for you, you were never addicted. Making your point moot. Quitting is for people who like sodas.
