It's funny. The Boreal forest is experiencing massive growth DUE to global warming. The perma-frost can melted and the forest is creeping south, which has led to more wild life and the Lynx is no longer considered an endangered species.And THAT is why I don't feel bad when I drive :)
Forget policy and politics - be a considerate human being and recognize that we share this world. Think before you use finite resources (gas, water, etc) and save power when you can (lights, heater, etc). More impact and less political circus antics.
Organic farms are very impractical. We have 6.6 billion people in this world and having tiny farms can't feed them especially in urban cities where it is impossible.
I don't even have to look at your profile to see that you are a man, for no woman would ever say I "don't need more than 15-20 outfits" or "more than 2 pairs of shoes". Never would I agree to something like that, I love my clothes and shoes, even the ones I wear 1 or 2 times a year, just as I love my SUV. I'll just have to find other ways to not be wasteful and reduce my consumption.
