I have to say the ROKR E6 is really badass. For my senior CS project I developed a visual voicemail app for it, and it was really easy to work with. Also the interface is smooth and responds quickly, and the phone is small and sleek.
umm...the last i've heard, the razr 2 IS coming to almost all of the "big telco's"; they're testing it right now hence hsdpa and evdo. And here's the deal since you're griping about big telco's...do you want cheaper phone prices, or the ability to bounce from carrier to carrier without much penalty. The latter you'll get cooler phones b/c they'll charge you full retail price ie the european system. You can't have cheap phones and "mobile freedom"... doesn't exist. For me, I don't have the money to buy a cool new phone every time one comes out.
Oh great, a cell phone spammer. You do realize of course that your current tactics will just get the "Early Adopters" on Digg to associate the phones you're pimping with Spam, right?

The site also often lists vapourware. Quite often I've found a cool device only to find the company never got past the proof of concept (if that far).

You already know and yet you ask :)According to latest rumors I think that the NEO1973 will be ready somewhere around September or October. I think that they say it in the following video, but I must admit that I didn't double check before making this comment.http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8574715471341709984

I have moto ming which does not play ogg files. You can flash the phone to play the files. I don't know why they didn't care about ogg format at all.
