makes sense to me. on a personal level, as long as you arent misleading anyone about your age, gender etc (if appropriate)and secondly, the websites and computers are slack with security and privacy, and ideally set up for stalkers/spammers etc. as well as that, things like search engines are set up to make it easy to search real personal details. government give out the electoral roll easy enough. sneakemail is a step in the right direction with email. we should all be using https.until security is taken seriously, the net isnt safe either personally or technically
Anyone with an ounce of sense will not give out their real identity on the Web given large array of psychos and smart-asses that frequent community sites.

Just use BugMeNot (bugmenot.com) when you can. It's really easy and there is a Firefox extension too.

Do we accept this as a valid percantage? We are asking if you lied then take it for truth? Kind of funny.

12% use real identity? I didn't know Anon Ymous is such popular name. Sounds Hungarian.
