The article was written for a primarily American audience. Read a European magazine if you don't like ounces.
Strangely enough, I've also heard that bathing in cold water will help prevent wrinkles (or postpone them, at least). I haven't been crazy enough to try it, though.
The point is to remain as healthy as possible as you age so you can reach 90 and still not be a burden.
