Have they ever made a superhero whose power was the ability to persuade? I've always thought that would be an amazingly useful superpower. Guy points a gun at you? Just say, "Hey, you would be much happier if you handed me that gun." Two countries about to go to war? Just have a little chat with the two leaders.

There was an episode of Supernatural where a guy had that exact ability. It showed how he basically used it to get laid and was ultra lazy since he could just make people give him their car, wallet, etc.
