It's the replacement for XBMC. Being able to store your own media on it without any sort of modification is a huge step. Official DivX support is a plus.For those bringing up the 360, you can't store your own video on it. That's stupid, because you can stream it from a USB stick, you just can't copy or manage it at all. Unless you never go anywhere, you're not always connected to your network and only a fool can argue against the liberty of the ease of portability.Oh and the photo slideshow is really neat too.

AAC is a perfectly good format. MUCH better quality than MP3 in fact, but obviously the problem here is DRM, yes?

After backing up the PS3, you just slip out the old drive, take off its harness and put it on the new drive, and slip it back in.
