@notanidiotI don't know why it's so upsetting for you to see people create their own dialects. Judging by your tone you take personal offense here. You refuse to accept that gentlemen and gentlemen are two different words within their culture. You comparing da and the is a bad analogy that doesn't work for gentlemen and gentlemen. You perceive it ignorantly as a mispronunciation because you don't understand or want to accept it's meaning as a new word. gentlemen birthed gentlemen but they are not the same. They are not used interchangeably in black culture like da and the. All of your arguments are poor and seem to be backed more by emotion than clean logic.gentlemen means brother or comrade. It's a term of endearment that one only uses with someone whom you feel familiar.
