nbcsandiego.com — Court records indicate four Marines acknowledged they had roles in the robbery, sexual assault and murder of a Camp Pendleton-based Iraq veteran and his wife last month in Riverside County. The four were charged Tuesday with the execution-style slayings of Marine Sgt. Jan Pawek Pietrzak and Quiana Faye Jenkins-Pietrzak. Most media avoiding facts.

Imagine if the races were reversed, and it was 4 white soldiers, murdering their black sergeant and his white wife. This would be on every major news channel.

Police call = picking up trash. That and running are some of the biggest gripes (enlisted side anyway). If you were an officer, I see even fewer reasons to complain. Then again, you keep saying it was "miserable" but don't back it up with anything concrete. It's not slavery though, just following through on a commitment. Here it's voluntary, but I do come from a country with a conscription system in place. The only difference is whether your commitment comes from your desire to serve or from your desire to be a citizen. There are always options though. If it's so bad, just don't "serve". There are consequences for everything of course, but in slavery you'd be beaten/tortured until you give in or killed. Also, slaves receive no compensation. I really don't see how there's any merit for comparison here. Do you have to do what you are told? Yes, as you have to in school, college, and at work (unless you have your own business). Can you leave? Yes, but you'd also have to leave the country, because, like I sad, those are the rules for citizenship...

As to be liberal (not in a political sense as this is purely objective) to your point, let us say that 3 million that say it is essential. Now guess how many people live in the USA? Lets say 300 million. Presidents work for the majority.

The couple was not just robbed, but raped, sexually abused with a foreign object, tortured, gagged, tied up and shot in the back of their heads, and then had their house set on fire. And all you are worried about the truth getting out, or dugg up? Seems like the problem is you."Chillin waitin 4 da killin," was the caption under a photo he posted before the newlyweds were executed on Oct. 15.http://www.nydailynews.com/news/us_world/2008/11/0 ...

Yer getting there! I noticed yer flag thing but I don't like to draw conclusions from people's avatars. Umm, with military, jail time isn't the only way to punish, everything from monetary fines, extra duties. reduction in rank, all sorts of administrative ways to punishment people, jail is usually a last resort. Anyways I'm digressing, that you agree military personnel are property, you agree that it is the same as slavery. When arguing whither giving food or money is considered compensation we can get into a debate over semantics or point of view. My point stands then that you cannot say because you are receiving money instead of food that it CANNOT be slavery. Not true again on serving mandatory military service. Belgium, for example, has a system of conscription, but there are options, like you can serve in the public service instead, or pay a fee. Wrong again on punishments, a slaves punishment is only as harsh as the master is willing to give, nowhere is it mandatory that it must be corporeal or cruel, that's a myth.

yes, can you tell the truth from the lies the media has told you. just because you would like to blame Bush for everything, doesn't mean that you are right. go read a book or something, and if that's too hard, just look at the pretty pictures. bring me some facts and then we will debate, not just insult me because you think differently.

no, because it's the people who elected him that are the problem not Obama. i really don't like Obama. in fact, if i had my choice, he wouldn't even have been a viable candidate for president. but it's not my call. even if Obama were to pass the Liberal legislature that he wants, it will still be the people's fault: (1) for not stopping him (2) for electing him to begin with. (3) being too stupid to realize what a mistake it was. but hey whatever right. adults are still adults and responsible for their own actions. so when you go out and murder someone, be you white, black, or purple with green polka dots, it's still your decision and fault. and if you choose to raise and ignorant child, then it's your fault that he goes out and becomes a thug.

Sad to think there are still people in this country like this that think marriages consisting of a man and a woman the same color, race, religion and social economic background are the only that matter.
